  On the nose there are matchsticks, blackcurrant leaves, a bit alcohol and some reduction. But after a short while the chardonnay comes through with asparagus, butter and gooseberries. Lovely. The mouthfeel is incredibly balanced and thick, creamy, lovely and fresh, with the perfect amount of acid. A bit sulphur and burnt matches on the palate as well, but all together a solid BB.

  Though the lowest appellation in Burgundy, this wine is really nice to drink. Chardonnay Burgundy style come out quite impressively. Lovely golden colour. Nose offers a rich bouquet of yellow fruits, ripe pine apple, white flowers and a delightful note of oak. In mouth the wine presents wonderful. Taste is full with a pleasant freshness and acidity but also soft and creamy impressions. The finish is lingering very long with notes of peach and light citrus fruits.

  Solid, elegant wine. Pairs well with food. Doesnt knock your head off, but drinks great. Could have this every day
