  • On the nose there are matchsticks, blackcurrant leaves, a bit alcohol and some reduction. But after a short while the chardonnay comes through with asparagus, butter and gooseberries. Lovely. The mouthfeel is incredibly balanced and thick, creamy, lovely and fresh, with the perfect amount of acid. A bit sulphur and burnt matches on the palate as well, but all together a solid BB.

  • Though the lowest appellation in Burgundy, this wine is really nice to drink. Chardonnay Burgundy style come out quite impressively. Lovely golden colour. Nose offers a rich bouquet of yellow fruits, ripe pine apple, white flowers and a delightful note of oak. In mouth the wine presents wonderful. Taste is full with a pleasant freshness and acidity but also soft and creamy impressions. The finish is lingering very long with notes of peach and light citrus fruits.
