The back label suggests consumption by 2018 - and I reckon they are correct. Pulpy red and blue fruits, smidge of chocolate and mint, no tannin to speak of and an unbalanced finish showing jangly acid. Better in its youth , as the winery suggested.

Clear, Dark purple, unevolved colour. Dark fruits with some tobacco and mushroom on the nose. Similar taste profile, but with the fruit very primary and a little bit of oak. Seemed like a pretty simple, but not too crappy wine. Finish was medium minus at best.

Very sweet. Probably a little sweet. Had with a roast lamb leading into winter after Anzac Day 2024… delicious though.
