Great stuff. Opened funky and a little disjointed. Came together with 30 minutes of air. Sweet and salty, at one point it had an almost Swedish Fish quality. Really fun wine.

Notably hazy in the glass. On the nose there is an abundance of attractive, tangy cherry driven fruit that has an obviously natty feel to it but not in a bad way. On the palate relatively rich with some spritz. Again unashamedly natty while still coming off serious. Has a crisp edge to it and sports superb juiciness. Pure fun, feels kind of young still.

Suvtly hazy pomegranate color. Wild, lifted and slightly acetic nose with aromas of raspberries, some ripe dark berries, light fragrant bretty of purple flowers, a little bit of crunchy redcurrant and a developed, sweeter hint of wizened dark fruit. The wine is lively, crunchy and medium-bodied with a slightest touch of fizzy tingle of CO2 and ripe, somewhat sweet-toned and rather lifted flavors of juicy dark plums and purple fruits, some nail polish remover, light brambly notes of forest fruit, a little bit of bretty chinotto character and an acetic hint of balsamico. Good, bright acidity and quite mellow, textural tannins. The finish is fresh yet rather high-toned with a slightly rough streak of acetic VA followed by vibrant flavors of juicy dark berries and plummy fruit, some crunchy redcurrant tones, a little bit of stony minerality and a wild hint of lifted bretty funk.
An enjoyably fresh, crunchy and acid-driven Cru Bojo that suffers from elevated levels of volatile acidity. It was possible to guess that this was a naturalist Beaujolais from the overall style - bright acidity, juicy dark berry tones and rather sauvage character - but I must admit that the somewhat too high levels of VA made it quite impossible to actually say that this was Gamay. While I do enjoy funky wines and often Métras wines are really up my alley, this wine was a bit of a let-down; it is just too natty and acetic that I would call it a great wine. It is wonderfully fresh and drinkable, yes, but the funk and the acetic VA here make the wine feel like just another natural wine. Not the most memorable non-interventionist Bojo I've had.

Medium red color. Aromas of sour cherries, strawberries, leather and wood spices. Highly structured, medium-bodied fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length. Juicy and persistent on the palate. While delicious with my wife’s outstanding pork tenderloin, not a great value.
