Aged in amphora. Mild oxidative style. Mildly hazy light amber color. Decanted. Now 2h after decant. Aromas of oranges, ripe apples, and just ripe pears, w a hint of beeswax. Palate w apples, pears, some oranges, ginger, beeswax, medicinal bark. Med-full body w nice acids. Mild tannins suggest skin contact. Excellent concentration. Nice finish of medicinal herbs, bark, apples and pears. A bit of heat on finish. No oxidation that I can tell. This is nicely complex that coming together. I think several more years will give the wine a chance to integrate further. This pretty good now though. Went nicely w aged gruyere cheese. 91+

C'est pas pire, but I agree with others, not a super great value. Interesting, but neither the complexity nor the depth attained in lots of other Ganevat cuvees.

Golden with an orange hue, so assuming there was skin contact in the winemaking. Pretty one dimensional and struggling to pickup a lot on the nose. Very mineral, with notes of dried apricot, and orange peel. It’s delicious, but not sure it’s worth the price tag.
