Dark ruby fruit - blackberry, dark currants/cassis, and dark cherry. Decent depth/concentration (medium plus body) but just a little tannic and somewhat tart - a little bing cherry profile. Nice flavors of dark berries, some spice/licorice, chocolate/cocoa, and a little mineral/earthy component. More of an old world profile especially next to the 2016 Becklyn cab. Fairly long finish. Decanted for one hour and drank over a couple more. Improved a little with time. Drank next to a 2016 Becklyn cab and I thought the Becklyn was quite a bit better - smoother and more character/expressive. In my opinion, I thought this wine drank much better fairly young - in the first couple years. 100% cab.

Very similar to other notes, dark red and blue fruits, great spice, tea and minerality, perfect balance. It’s great now and still gets better with air, so no rush...

Popped and poured...rich dark fruit with present tannins though a nice balance...went great with red meat...medium finish...highly recommend opening one now if you have multiple bottles.
