Purchased off the wine list at the morris in SF, where I made my inquiry about women who make wine.
We were uncertain of this bottle all the way through our first course (lamb and olive terrine), but it WOWed us when we reached our second— spicy jalapeño halibut crudo with passsionfruit. The wine?!?! Chefs kiss all of a sudden
On the nose, strong twizzler vibes, with some earth and a little.. chery cola? Root beer?
On the palate: Honeydew / honeysuckle Red fruits, still good structure, tannic and dry and maybe oaky?
