Super clear colour (refreshing on pnp after a poxed PYCM Chassagne Champs Gain 14 week prior). Telltale reduction, plenty of woodsmoke initially and after an hour in the decanted it really blossoms with tree fruit in spades, it's radiant and this terrific mineral cut underneath a sappy and deep fruit framed by the reduction. It's a great package and certainly one of the vineyards to seek out from the PYCM portfolio in Chassagne together with Grandes Ruchottes both can deliver a nigh GC experience in my opinion. Hard to fault maybe a touch of mid-palate sweetness could bring this up even more. Now-2035. 94++

From magnum, PnP, a super generous pull for a group tasting from my good friend. Followed periodically over a few hours without food.
The wine was in great shape. A little grassy notes alongside lemon curd, yellow peach and gunflint. Long and delicious. This has held up very well so far!

La Paulée Chassagne-Montrachet Dinner-Moreau, Pillot, and Colin-Morey (Gabriel Kreuther, New York): Jeroboam. Light to medium yellow. Slight reduction which largely resolved. Steely, classic cool aromas with more flowers and citrus as it warmed. Elegant, medium weight. More terroir than fruit shows. Terrific acidity, long earthy finish, great drive. The best of the PYCM trio of whites but clearly for the future.

Another Amnon bottle popped at ASA. Paired against an 08 PYCM SA en Remilly Cuvée Nicolas et Mathis. Pale yellow, very chiseled and chalky with an electric palate. Similar tasting to my note on 5/10/22, hard to compare but this seemed even better tonight. This wine is in a great spot for early drinking.

Simply stunning, this is drinking fab straight from opening. Emotional balance between complexity, minerals and concentration. Almost best ever chassagne for me - only beaten by Lamy Caillat Romanee.
