  Had this at Scalini Fedeli at the recommendation of the Waiter. Popped and poured and had with a Veal chop. Not too dark color. Nice aroma of cherry and maybe licorice. On the palate had a fair amount of red fruit, good acidity and some spice on the finish. Tannins were soft and it was very approachable. A nice bottle with dinner.
