The nose was probably worth 94 points while palate was 88 point. Liger-belair like nose with potpourri, flower petals, vr spice and citrus. Palate hit the peak in its first 30 mins but it faded into lean tart fruit afterwards. Good to try once but certainly overpriced.

Great nose of Burgundy from a great producer. While this is only a Bourgogne, it drinks like a 1er Cru. Still very youthful with a strong expression of orange rind and grapefruit on the finish. Give this more time in the bottle to integrate all of the parts.
Bottle uncorked in advance and poured into small white wine glasses acting as decanters for the guests. Assessed via Zalto Burgundy glass (“Root” day): Pale purplish ruby.
Great transparency even sensed on the nose, highly aromatic with almost explosive violets, dark berries that is so vivid that you can almost see the pulps bursting out of their skins. Smoky aromas too which is probably the giveaway of this parcel.
Positively backwards. Nice minerality and well-judged acidity. Silky tannins and persistent finish. Great potential with the amount of dry extracts present.
93-94 points.

Very pure, great freshness. Red cherries, flowers. Mouth feel has a bit of weight, and good concentration. Modern style with little oak, terrific village wine with some depth. Outstanding lieu dit Bourgogne, with whole cluster harvest giving some nice spicy kick. Impressive to think he does not use any sulfur but it doesn’t have the vin nature character i often dont like

Classic stem bomb profile akin to Leroy or Prieure Roch. Similarly raspy palate that doesn’t match aromatics. (1742 bottles, 20 magnums and 4 jeros)
