Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Clear, pale straw with green hues. The nose is clean, fresh, intense and dominated by pyrazine-induced grassiness, lemon, lime, green apple and unripe gooseberries. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity and medium alcohol (13%). There's some wet stone and burnt match on the finish. In a blind tasting, it would be difficult to distinguish it from a NZ South Island SB.

If you like the true characteristics of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, this Italian wine is the one for you. It's bright and has that refreshing grapefruit flavor and aroma, but it's far from tart. I could drink this all day and it's a good wine for a party.
