  Clear, medium colour depth, bright ruby red
  Sweet nose, floral
  Dry, medium bodied. Moderate acidity. Fully developed cassis fruit. Soft tannin. Spicy finish. Cloves, pimento. Warm spirit limgers.

  Dark cherry-plum red, medium depth of colour, clear 3
  Vibrant, interesting and complex nose. Crushed berry fruit, sweet spice, spirit, floral scents, vanilla, cedar, mint. Musk. 6.5
  Mellow, restrained blackcurrant fruit flavours. Dry, medium bodied. Mild acidity. Soft tannin. Slightly hollow mid palate. Some paprika/pimento spice and mild spirit warmth in the finish. 7.5
  It is interesting to see how the acidity softened over the past 2 years since I last tasted this wine.

  Hollow start, medium body, dry, restrained sour fruit, soft tannins. Hints of coffee and paprika at the finish. Improved overnight (vacuum stopper). 7/10
  I prefer wine that is not quite so sour.

  Clear, bright cherry red with a purple or magenta tinge, no legs. Medium depth of colour. 3/3
  Herbaceous, minty, sweet, spicy, vanillin oak, violet perfume, complex, 6/7
  Medium body, slightly hollow middle palate, dry, nicely balanced acid but with restrained (cranberry?) fruit - somewhat austere - and with fine tannins, spicy. Good length finish, 7.5 or maybe 8/10
