Wouldn't be a Vine Starr if there weren't tartaric precipitated on the cork. Alluring nose, similar to the 2013. Feminine and red fruited with a green olive finish.

Cranberry and cherry up front, moving directly into an herbaceous, peppery middle and finishing with high to very high acidity. 'if someone doesn't like high acidity reds they will HATE this' she says. Needs careful pairing.

Very different than other zins I have tried. Much more refreshing with medium to high acidity. Notes of red cherry and cranberries.

Cherries, cranberry, red fruit, and a hint of cedar on the nose. Medium-high acidity with more red berries on the palate. Good finish.

A more savory style. Went great with spicy food. Hard not to like.
