  Delicious and an excellent example of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. We bought this at one our all time favorite tastings: with Ross, sitting on his deck at the house on the Coastlands vineyard property, in the sunshine, old grove Redwoods to the east, the Pacific to the west, great tunes spinning on his turntable. Two years later we did a tasting at the Emmaline Ann vineyard with Katie at LaRue. It’s gorgeous, and heavily influenced by the fog rolling off the nearby Pacific. Decanted for 3.5 hrs and served with roasted chicken/root veggies. Lighter in colour, this is made in a delicate style with lots of freshness and a very subtle oak influence. Red cherries, spices, and earthy - pretty sure there's some whole cluster here. It's in a great place right now, but there’s lots of life left in this wine. 94.

  Delicious Pinot. Really super light, tannins and acidity are soft and in perfect harmony. Strong notes of red fruit (strawberry for me) as well as spices. Some mineraliy in the end had reminded me of a Pouilly Fumé. Long finish. Perfect pairing with chicken and bumpkin.

  West of West SF, nose of red cherry and berry fruit and very earthy, medium body, tasty, short finish.
