Anniversary Dinner at Courtright's Restaurant (Willow Springs, Illinois): This was served with the chefs take on the classic BLT. Some crumbled bacon was served with two tomato based gelatins with young leaf lettuce and a drizzle of mayo. Very flavorful. Although it would not have been my choice, th wine matched worked. It had some tropical notes and was lightly oaked. A very plentiful nose with some pear nuances on the finish. 87 points.

Pale yellow color, not much aroma, decent texture, lots of oak, butter, some herb on palate. Intense decent herbal-citrus finish. A home run with a grilled skate wing in a lemon and roasted garlic sauce. Not too shabby for $14.

Nice, fruity and smooth. Big Pears and Apples. A bit sour or tart on the finish but definitely nice for the money.
