Very nice indication of what Columbia Crest can do with Syrah in Washington State. For only 8 bucks we get to enjoy some true, ripe, clean, easily identifiable Syrah type flavors. Big expressive nose of upfront raspberry and blackberry flavors with the aroma of roses and toasty oak. Mouth coating, sharp, red and dark fruit. Rounded and smooth oak and fruit flavors with just enough crispness. Way more concentrated than we would expect.

Good every day syrah. Just the right amount of fruit and spice. Both mild but there to make this a good choice for introducing a syrah.

While not the most complex syrah, still nice easy drinking affordable one that went well with the BBQ
