Calmed down a lot since its somewhat wild youth. Better integrated, but still has a lot of fruit, now with undertones of black tar. Finish is a little hot but not ridiculous. Built big, in Paso Robles style, but is not unbalanced. Shame that was the last bottle!

FamilyWinemakers of California; 3/20/2007-3/21/2007 (Pasadena, CA): Medium-bodied tempranillo with ample fruit but not enough spice to balance it out.

Good wine, not my style though. More fruit than Spanish riojas.

@ 15% alcohol this was hot and a strong methanol odor. The alcohol made this tuff to enjoy.
