With aromas of citrus, honeydew melon, wet slate, and petrol, this is a wonderfully refreshing, delightful Riesling that expresses its terroir in spades. Excellent acidity balances the residual sugar and the finish is long and complex. You just can’t keep yourself from reaching for more. It should age for another 10-15 years, but I don’t know if I will be able to resist that long.

Fantastic Riesling; packed with an array of bright fruit ranging from peaches and tangerines to tarter green apple and citrus flavours with a slate/stony undercurrent. Despite the one-star Spätlese designation, it comes across barely off-dry with moderate sweetness that's buffered by the powerful acidity. There's an impressively long, tart finish, and the balance is impeccable.

Slightly less vibrant than the last bottle. Maybe just bottle variation or slightly shutting down.

Tasty bottle of riesling. Very nicely balanced. I'm sure this will hold for a decade+ but i'm not sure it will improve from here.

Seemingly less concentrated than the 2009, though with the same 8% ABV. Certainly lighter in color, and with less RS.
