I have not enjoyed this wine until this latest bottle. The balance had been off. Bottle age has definitely helped as it is drinking well now. Lots of minerality and a decent finish. It pays to wait at times.

-color:an almost clear lemon yellow -Body:medium minus to medium in appearance, -Aroma:initially green apple and chalk with pear -Palate: green apple skin tartness with a definite mineral quality and almost petrol like flavor on the initial finish that ends with a lemon rind tartness that endures for 15-20 seconds but lingers slightly for long after. Acidity grows from medium to medium plus.

Riesling-like nose - intense pear, gasoline, and crushed chalk dust. Linear palate brings kiwi-lime, lemons, and hints or tangerines. The finish is lengthy and textured, bringing good acidity, crushed rock, and ligering white apple notes. Drink over the next few years. Great QPR. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 90.

Very drinkable, but nothing to write home about. Not sure I would buy this again.

Intensely perfumed. True to place, if somewhat ripe. Lifted, piercing, and gritty. Medium plus acid, expansive mouthfeel, great finish.
