Surprisingly good. Nice mineral nose with crisp fruit. Citrus in the mouth. Medium-length finish. Beautiful with sea bass sandwiches. Drank far better then my expectations.

Archetypal Chablis. Green gold, quince, greengage, and a touch of emergent meatiness. Perfect wine class Chablis representative. Last bottle of a half case, every one lovely; no rush still.

Pale gold. Seaweed, funky, bready nose. In mouth, classic Chablis, with a bright golden medicinal core. This bottle sat in fridge 5 days and was still reasonably drinkable at the end.

11/22/03 at home on Saturday. The first 2002 Burgundy wine I have tasted, and, wow, even a vin ordinaire is a knockout. Very bright, yellow-gold. Fine legs. Lovely nose of lemons, vanilla, and even tropical fruits. Hint of flint as well. Beautiful palate, perfectly balanced, all components in harmony--quite amazing for a wine selling for $18. California (and no other place) can touch this for the price. Wowee! 5-11-16-8-90/100. Hiroko-90.

Decent Chablis, good minerality. Suble bitter vegetal (green pepper?) on the midpalate detracted from overall quality.
