  • What a secret, hidden in plain view -- because who'd think this all-Cinsault wine from Pays d'Herault could be this exquisite, or this deep?

Great and deep out of the gate, all sorts of spiced black fruit. Medium tannins, medium acidity. Herbs start showing up at the party early, and continue to devleop throughout: garrigue, thyme. An hour or two in it softens on the palate, and the texture is gorgeous. Not a manipulated silken thing, but soft and pencil-dusty.

This is a fantastic wine, and one that will hold for years.
