Soft jammy aroma and flavor --plum, blackberry, and maybe a little chocolate. On the palate, it's very smooth and soft, but with enough of a tannic backbone to avoid flabbiness. Along with the the bold dark fruit is a little vegetal character with a mild black pepper finish. Pretty good, but there are plenty of excellent Aussie shiraz examples that are in it's league for $10-14.

Not my favorite taste. Only and average Austrailian Shiraz. For 20 should be better. Best with spice food or sauces. I would not buy again.

Didn't like this as much as the 2003, but still very good.

Definite raspberry taste, smooth on the front and nose, a bit tight on the finish, not a bad wine but at the same time nothing special.
