  • Brick red, bordering on tawny in color, this wine showed tobacco leaf, red berries and vanilla on the nose. The mouth feel brought silky tannins and hints of baking spices. The finish was medium in length with subtle hints of sweetness from the fruits and tannins.

Purchased for $44US, this is a very good example of aged Barberesco at a reasonable price. It paired wonderfully with my artisan brick oven pizza tonight.
