AP #4 - Just starting to rev it’s engine, this wine is brilliant. It has power and yet is light on its feet, with marvelous complexity and depth. Sweet but not cloying, this is still young and has a great future.

Wines @ John's (West Hartford, CT): All I can say is... Wow. This BA attacked the palate with apricots, baked peaches, orange zest and elderflower (think St Germain liquor). Intensely sweet and concentrated, yet so finely etched with monstrous acidity. Ridiculous length. A perfect match for baked pears. Did I mention the length... Wow.

This is spectacular. Painfully young, but it's already a wow wine with remarkable complexity and finesse. Packed with a spectrum of fruit ranging from fresh citrus and mandarin orange to riper tropical flavours, and accented with layers of honey, floral notes, spice, and so much more that it's impossible to catalog what all is going on here. The botrytis accents feel remarkably light and fresh, not overwhelming the fruit or other complexities here, and although it's incredibly sweet and intense on the palate, there's tremendous acidity beneath that keeps it very light on its feet and easy to drink. The finish is absurdly long, and I was still tasting this long after dinner had ended.

(Zilliken Saarburger Rausch Beerenauslese) Really structured Berenauslese here with huge fruit and tangy acids and a massive palate with a velvety mouthfeel. Absolutely stunning but is it a crime to say I liked the LGKA (Auction) bottling better?

What a beautiful wine! The purest apricot nectar with lift and sparkle and a finish for days. Quite a revelation.

A Lost Weekend In NH; 6/16/2022-6/20/2022 (Lake Wentworth): Amazing depth of freshness, sweetness, vibrancy, density. Apricot jam and spice. Taste is for a while. Citrus and cream. Intense. Lovely!
