Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 93 points

  • Dark violet color. This would never pass for a new world wine in a blind tasting. A rustic structured beautiful wine. Excellently balanced- fruit/acid/tannin all in lockstep. On the full side of medium bodied with tart, bright acidity adding a bit of a bite to the texture. Plums & cherries with a strong earthy component.

More about finesse & structure than just fruit, but this has a true Blau character and is one of the more compelling & surprising wines I've tasted this year.
