  I had a bottle of the 2008 recently and a bottle of the 2005 a few years back and was blown away by both. So, I had pretty high hopes for this bottle that I recently picked up at auction.
  Well, this was a very good and interesting bottle of Pinot, but I couldn't help but be a little underwhelmed. Depth wasn't great, which is my biggest criticism. Also, this seemed a little flat and un-energetic, though there seemed to be adequate acidity. Still, there was a lot to like about this, with a nice flavor profile and pretty good balance. Perhaps this bottle was just slightly off, I'll never know. If scoring, somewhere in the range of 87 - 89.
