This is pretty good for a Village-level wine, especially at its modest price. Color is a strong golden-yellow. Golden delicious apple nose, with some decent complexity provided by smoky nuances. Toasty fruit in the mouth, good acidity cuts through the ripe fruit. Probably near the end of the plateau of maturity it has been on, so drink up. 5-12-15-8: 90/100.

Medium yellow, good mid palette and acidity - 15 second finish, classic white burgundy Cote-D'Or nose - love the 13% alcohol level.... very pleasant wine.

P: Med, poss LM, body; RNDISH entry with NICE oak/frt balanced by an acidity which seamlessly transitions into a LONG, BALANCED finish with an alluringly elegant tangy/swtness. Drinking beautifully right now, & if all were like this bottle (my fav of my 6 bottles?), drinkable through '22, poss more? My EXC, arguably EXC+ given the < $20 pd for it [COSTCO closeout] several yrs ago. // ≈7 hrs after it had been opened [@ home]: The frt has now almost TOTALLY vanished, though NO sense of oxygenation, & the acidity still QUITE nice. ∑: Be WARY of this falling apart with TOO much air! :( 91 pts Tim Atkin, 88 Vinous (Tanzer), & 16/20 Jancis Robinson.
Note: Also tasted on 8/5/17, 7/6/18; 1/15, 9/1, & 9/21/19, + 1/18/20.

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) oak/grn applish frt counterbalanced by an acidity which evolves into a LONG, very, VERY slightly bitterish finish, but with a balance & even elegance. Nonetheless, I suspect this is drying out & should be consumed during the next 6-9 mos. My VG+, arguably EXC- for QPR. [See my TN of 7/6/18 re the pricing of this.]
Note: Also tasted on 8/5/17, 7/6/18, + 1/15, 9/1, & 9/21/19.

It's taken a while to get here, but this is now an attractive balance of oak, lemon, acidity and nuts
Best at high 50'sF, a lot of the appeal is lost at fridge temperatures
