Such a well-made wine. Savory and finely structured, with dark fruit, cassis, currants, and roasted herbs atop notes of cocoa and licorice. Displays a beautiful, complex middle palate of black and blue fruit bolstered by wonderful balance and a backbone of energetic tannin. It's evolving beautifully.

30th Anniv Blind Tasting. Medium purple, minimal meniscus. Red and dried fruits on the nose. Taste begins with sour cherry but evolves to dry fruits with hints of spices. Well balanced wine that is easy to drink.

Night one was a little tight and showed a strong mix of vanilla and oak. Tonight, the wine has mellowed some showing a plush dark drink with balance, fruit and some acidity on the back end. No hurry to drink as these will show well for another 5-7 years. Good value for the $.

Fairly light for a Cab, the cedary tannins have mellowed nicely from the last time I opened a bottle of the same vintage. Great balance of black fruit, earthy, and herbal notes. Recommended.
