Drank over two nights, no formal notes. Soft and smooth. Did not stand up to prime rib as well as a younger (2014)strait cab. Will take more detailed notes on the next btl, soon.

Opened fours hours prior to dinner and slow ox'd. The nose was dark fruit. The palate was dark berries, figs, leather and dried sage. The finish was long. Served with a steak dinner and alongside a Beringer 2010 Reserve.

Very nice! Silky for a Cab, excellent match for a medium-heavy meal (pork chops with apple butter in our case). No hurry on this one.

Paired with a bone in ribeye at Morton’s. Good wine but was hoping for more at this price point.

Hints of fruit on the nose. Tannins are smooth and mellowing. Pairs well with red meat. Good to drink now.
