Tuesday Night Double Blind $60+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): See through crimson with orange in rim; lifted, a little clay and dust, effusive nose, complex, sour cherry, a little burnt orange, roses, floral; acidic and structured but not hard, orange zest, like the elegant feel to it even though there is a dusty firm tannin and acid spine; not in a bad place, doesn't lead with oak, classy and very good; Serralunga?

Oh my goodness! Brief decant then stoppered, earth, mushrooms, cherries, and rosemary and mint in a nose that blows you away. Cherries, plums, and earth in the mouth with soft, but lengthy and well integrated tannins. A worthy Barolo for which I paid very little. Drank it with pot roast. Yum.

Funky camphor-dominated nose. Something not quite right about this bottle.

Pretty nose with strawberry and peach fruit, stone.
Light-to-midweight palate with lovely balance and freshness.
Really elegant expression of Barolo.
