Popped and poured, yellow-gold hue. Petrol immediately off the pop evolves quickly into impressions of floral honeysuckle, ripe pear, fresh berry jam and minerals. Decent concentration, no clue where this would rank on the German scale but it's certainly not bone dry yet quite quenching...even racy, to be honest. As for flavors, the palate largely mirrors the nose but is even jammier - like the best version of fruit cocktail but never cloying and borderline psychedelic. Pretty compelling juice, seems like it's at apogee.
quick addendum: this is easily the most profound, non-botrytis Riesling I've ever had from Cali - rendonk, even

Drank this aged, so it had some petrol notes on the nose. Lots of green notes of green apple, green melon, maybe even cucumber? This is a dry riesling with good acidity.

ACOHEN nailed the notes but I had the score just a tad lower. A little age on this now with a pleasant nose and it improved with air. Loved this wine. My lone bottle sadly. Very pleasant wine overall

With Swordfish….
Still in a good place, petrol, green apple, bees wax/pollen, Asian poached pear.
Acidity still there. Best with food.
