This was excellent. Great match to Asian inspired pork ribs in sticky black sauce. This wine had enough weight to stand up to the ribs and the dry finish cut through the sweetness of the black sauce. The wine itself still had a green tinge to it with pear and citrus coming through. Great balanced crispness to finish. Perfect drinking window for the next few years.

Must be about 15 years since I tried this (from memory) and I wasn't at all impressed compared to the French examples I was drinking back then. This has a subtle nose of canned green apricot, not much else really. Nice balance of the palate showing a round and slightly rich texture balanced by good acidity, nice slight lacticity in the finish. Ultimately, it's a bit dilute and lacking in character though. Would not bother again - and would happily pay double for a decent Condreiu!

Melons and quince. Enormous mouth feel almost overwelming at first lovely dry finish. This is no shrinking violet, this wine commends your attention. Very very good wine. Drank July 18.

"2016" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/11/2015-10/15/2015 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {screwcap, 13.5%} An all apricot nose, with seemingly little oak. Very youthful. It does have a steely, mineral-like palate, despite fairly low acid. There’s grapefruit flavour too. On the plus side, it’s not a terribly generous wine on the medium-length palate at the moment; it has a weird trick of seeming medium/full-bodied without being terribly flavoursome; perhaps this will help it age. Could it reach the heights of the 2002 from the other day?
