PnP, consumed over 2 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale garnet with extensive edge bricking. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with developed aromas of mushroom, forest floor, leather, dried cherry, and dried rose petals. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium- tannin, medium body, medium+ intensity, 13.0 % abv with developed flavors of dried cherry, leather, and tobacco with a medium+ finish. Overall this is a fully developed wine that is drinking superbly showing favorably in all aspects - balance, length, intensity, and complexity. Drink now.

I actually think it is drinking perfectly right now. It's just a village but it finally has found that sweet spot--at least for me, if you like a bit of village funk.

Final bottle of Six. Moldy cork but the content was unaffected. Bricking, aromatic with sous bois, red fruits, smoked wood, and licorice. More vibrant than a previous bottle with energetic lift highlighting red fruits, dried wood, acidity, cinnamon, and a hint of white pepper. Good length on the finish, with extended spice and dry extract.
An overall stunning village performance, and why I keep adding more and more Burgundy to our cellar. Performance potential of the Burgs is unmatched in the New World IMO.

Past prime, metallic tones, especially on finish.
