Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 80 points

  • Clear, mauve with pink rim, and intermittent thin, fast-moving tears.
Clean, med- intensity, aromas of beetroot, cranberries, violets and roast beef with pepper.
Dry, med body, med+ tannins, light acidity, a slight fuzziness to the palette, med alcohol, good balance, with further tastes of cooked blueberries and raspberries, ash, pomegranates and cassis mixed with leather and forest brush. This is a fruit-forward Carmenere but lacks finish and feels still too young. It has potential though and should be reasonably priced.
