My last bottle, and while fully mature/slightly past, it's quite enjoyable. Pours the color of a kids' red fruit juice that's been watered down, very light. Aromas are, much to my satisfaction, tending toward soil, first, and red/stone fruits, second. The lighter side of medium-bodied. Dances on the palate when paired with a Mediterranean salad. Drink now. 12,5% abv.; agglomerated cork. recommended
Oh, gosh, I forgot that I had these in the cellar; was in Europe 7 of the past 11 months since the last one. In any event, this one is nearing the end of its life. I've known several roses that had more body than this is presenting at the moment. That said, there's a very Burgundian nature to it now. It's very elegant, and not withstanding its extremely light body, it's quite pleasant on the palate. No saturated fruit, or chewy tannins, instead just a very mild-mannered and properly balanced light bodied wine. I waited too long, but at least there's something to admire, and at least it hasn't turned in any way. Drink now if you have any.

Medium(-) body, with plenty of fresh acidity; the fruit is juicy, as in really juicy. Which, tends to make it pretty gulpable, too, so you've been warned. As expected, plenty of freshness and varietal character. It's not showing the structure that say an Anfosso rossese would, so probably best to drink this sooner than later. (thru 2020) The red fruits just crackle. This remains a reliable, and satisfying producer; an excellent gateway wine if you've not tried this variety before. recommended
Last bottle of 2014. I always love the mix of earthiness, cherry and mineral zing. And I love that it consistently delivers for me. The Punta Crena always seems to be a step above other Ligurian Rossesi; maybe leaving it unfiltered adds that extra something? Very Good.

Very pale red in the glass. Bright red fruit up front with some decent tannin, light bodied but not as light as I expected from the color. Really good with a spicy version of pasta alla norma, standing up to the sweetness of the eggplant, the kick from the sauce and the briny sultriness of the ricotta salata.
