Pop and pour and enjoyed without food. this is a Bordeaux style blend with the larger components of Cabernet and Merlot. Nice nose of dark fruits, a wisp of wood smoke, and some tobacco. Has a hint of cedar. Good structure with balance and elegance. While it fills the mouth with flavor, the tannins are fairly soft resulting in a velvety mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Similar in composition to a Left Bank Bordeaux, the 2014 Gran Coeur is crafted with thoughtfully sourced fruit from Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyard.
The vineyard is farmed according to vinewise standards and is located between the Horse Heaven Hills & Red Mountain AVA's in Yakima Valley. It is a robust blend composed of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Petit Verdot, 20% Merlot and 7% Malbec.Aged for 18 months in 53% new French oak, the polished round tannins are enhanced by notes of mocha, blackberry and fig. We expect the balanced structure of this wine to develop elegantly in the bottle for another 8-10 years.
