Interesting stuff, quite un pinot on the nose. V intense.
Palate gives way more character and this was initially quite restrained. Some of the group were less impressed. There was a slightly green edge to the ripe fruit notes and tannin (possible whole bunch ferment) with the wine demonstrating some finesse by the wine maker.
The wine ultimately didn't seem to add up to the sum of its parts though on the night.

Drank this a few weeks ago and neglected to take detailed notes. I recall that it had good concentration though. This was a nice find in the Portland airport (after bag inspection/security) on my way back to NJ.

Still youthful and tight. Blueberries and red berries open to aromas of underbrush and pencil shavings. Hints of acetone and wood fade away. Shows ample lift in the mouth, the tart flavors ebbing the longer it sits in the glass. Weightless, but doesn't lose its resonance, good length, and well balanced. Time will tame its tannic backbone.

Very good wine. Complex earthy berry nose and full bodied berry mouthfeel, but the aftertaste is a touch sour and metallic. Might benefit from a longer decant (it had half an hour) but the high acidity won't change. Better with food.

Dark cherry, cranberry, currant, raisins and baking spice with rich earth make up the nose. Balanced mouth feel with high acidity on the palate. Pure Oregon Pinot noir.
