  A good experience - as always a very fresh and wine - medium+ acidity and tannins - but well integrated - we are getting ripe dark cherries, some cinnamon, menthol and tobacco. A good long aftertaste - still some years to enjoy the wine in - happy to give 94.

  Opened 3 hours in advance, but not decanted. Fresh, elegant and straight forward, especially the relatively hot vintage taken into consideration. Medium+ acidity and tannin, both beautifully integrated. It delivers ripe dark cherries, cranberries, a dusty earthiness, a hint of cinnamon, tobacco leaves and menthol. The balance is very good and the aftertaste quite long. Lovely winemaking in a challenging vintage.

It delivers a very pronounced note of stable/earthiness, dark cherries, blackberries, a hint of camphor, some cranberries and roses. Very good balance and a quite long aftertaste. To me it's right in the middle of the drinking window, but still with a lot of life left.

  Perhaps the best vintage yet? Already so impressive and drinkable, yet lots of potential too. Must be one of the best from this challenging vintage in Montalcino.
