Australia trip; 3/25/2017-4/10/2017 (Australia): At restaurant in Perth. I liked this and confirms my preference for blended Sauv Blanc as this comes across less herbal and grassy and more balanced while maintaining the freshness.

Western Australia Wine Tasting (Australia House, Strand, London): Refreshing green character with grass, asparagus and tropical fruits. The palate shows intensity, green character, med acidity, very fresh again in the palate, long finish.

Herbs, lemon, pineapple and pear. Good texture, with sweet fruit but just enough acidity to keep it well balanced. Pretty good stuff.

-LTC = little touch of chardonnay, in this case 5%. It and the semillon both have oak exposure
Oak does not really show in the mineral, asparagus and passion fruit aromas, but helps out with complexity on the palate of green berries and spice
Interesting approach
