Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 90.7 points

  • Amazingly complex nose of fruit, spices, and a mild touch of barnyard. Cloudy as to be expected with PM given the winemaking approach. Tastes of tart cherry and herbs.

  • This pours translucent, but fairly cloudy with flecks of orange and lemon peel. The nose on this wine is lights out. Wildly complex and reminiscent of top shelf burgundy. It blasts pickled ginger, nori, Chinese five spice, cilantro, light cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, grilled chicken, rose petals, orange peel, potting soil, and cardamom. Easily a 94-95 point nose. The palate doesn’t quite deliver. It’s a tad hollow with medium tannin and high (sharp) acid, finishing a tad short on very tart red fruit.
