Aromas of honeycomb, roasted nuts, and a twang of butterscotch. Tart and energetic with a lean dry honeyed quality to a lemon fruit character. A bit unusual and electric. Not sure this is quite up my alley, probably better younger.

Bright, light golden color. First impression somewhat monolithic and oxidized notes. But this blew off after 2 hours showing a more complex and interesting - richer wine. Notes of dried apricots, quince, candle wax and pebbles in the nose. All medium to well-delineated. Medium bodied palate full of (unripe) fruits as (dried) apricots, (unripe) pear and figs. Excellent acidity lifting up the wine. Should keep well for several more years.

Tasted over three days. Dry honeycomb, cooking pear, meadow flowers, candle wax, and metallic ore notes throughout. Expansive, gritty, and persistent. It has the substance to age for at least another decade, and will likely improve. 92-93.

I opened this too early. Its good but not yet singing and you can tell there is lots to play with in hibernation. Has aromas of spicy baked lemon, pear, bruised yellow apple, and smoke. On the palette you taste flavors of young sour pineapple and granny smith apple with more baked lemon and salty lime. It has a plush texture with good weight that counters laser focused acid.

Very thick and full bodied and textured. Powerful, dramatic. But to me, like it younger, but I recognize that this can gone much further.
