Tasted over several days. Unlike earlier bottles, this one was a little heavy and grapey for my tastes - I prefer more lift (acids?) over structure but this was still a nice glass even after two days. I didn't get the cranberry crunch from past bottles. I see that there are a lot more bottles in people's cellars so looking forward to reading about this wine's continuing evolution.

A little on the cranberry crunchy mineral side (not my fav focus) but on the second day a touch of savory began to compliment the other tastes, rounding the whole thing out a bit.

Much more expressive and open than it was two years ago; better integrated with the rough edges gone. Clear, medium ruby color. Upfront aromatics displaying floral violets, ripe black and red berries, sweet cola, pepper, and black, moist mulch. Much more delineated on the palate: juicy, tart strawberry; tart, wild blackberry; zingy raspberry; cherry cola; spicy black pepper; chewy, black earth. Medium plus acidity provides freshness and structure, tannin is relatively low. Lengthy finish. Excellent food wine accompanied with grilled salmon burgers and grilled vegetables. This should drink well for another 4-5 years if cellared properly.

This is a bright fresh fruity Gamay wine that was a lovely bright wine in the glass, felt fresh and clean and full of life. A lovely example of a Gamay from the best region to produce that grape variety in abundance. While this wine was sold as a 2014 the bottle says 2015.
