Part of a WA State wine night with my group. All the reds were from 2010 to 2013. This was one of three wines from the Champoux vineyard. It was opened, but not decanted for at least 90 minutes before pouring. I don't think this was the WOTN, but it was close and as the least expensive wine there, it was the QPR winner. Long finish. This was the 10th bottle of a case I bought directly from the winery. It probably has years of life left, but I doubt the final 2 bottles will stay undrunk for more than a year!

My favorite of the Soos Creek wines, this always punches above its weight class, and is an excellent QPR wine. I shared a bottle with my wine group last night and we all loved it. My score for this wine is probably the lowest of our group

Opened but not decanted for 1 hour before pouring at a NYC Steakhouse. I had this with my wine group alongside a 2013 Larkmead Firebelle, a 2012 Pride Mountain Vineyard Vintners Select Merlot, and a 2012 Januik Cabernet Sauvignon Champoux. My third favorite, behind the Pride and the Januik. I'm a big fan of Soos Creek and their Champoux cuvee is always enjoyable. Great QPR. It had a medium-long finish, a beautiful nose, and tasted very good on the palate. For the record, my favorites in order, Pride, Januik, Soos Creek and the Larkmead.

I always enjoy Soos Creek's Champoux cuvee and this was no exception. Aging really well.

This wine has aged well and is in the zone. Pipe tobacco, cassis, menthol, cranberry on the nose. Silky tannins and a medium finish. Phenomenal value.
