Interesting contrast to the 2014 Freemark Abbey Chardonnay a couple of months ago. This classic mid price California chardonnay style is one I continue to like, but this is not the best example I think.

Restaurant purchase. Pretty straight-forward Napa chard with yellow apple, a bit of stone fruit and a buttery finish. While I usually don't like butter this was not overly-done and everyone at the table enjoyed it.

Big and oaky. Good balance and length.
