Bright Leroy spice jumps from the glass with more red and blue fruit in the background. Very pretty but the 1995 lean character is evident. Medium depth with a finish that while enjoyable, leaves you wanting more. Still it's damn tasty.

Blind tasting of two 1995 Red Burgundy with Mike, first place. Nice, rich, sweet pinot, blackberry nose, more of the same on the palate, showed more acid as the evening went on, elegant tasting all the same, medium finish.

Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys Auction; 9/19/2013-9/20/2013 (Smith & Wollensky - New York NY): Tasting. Starts with classic Leroy spice profile with black cherry and blackberry aromas. Similar fruit flavors with slightly less spice. Big tannins, especially for a Leroy, very "1995" in that regard.
