  Sat open for 20 min before tasting. Strong nose of chocolate, cherry, wet slate and a hint of blueberry. Baking spice really popped in after an hour (nose and palate). Earthy palate, with some distinct pine needle/tree, perhaps some semi-sweet chocolate. Good acidity and round tannins. Long finish. This is a big Pinot. Amazing QPR. Tastes like typical $50 bottle.
