  • If I had tasted this blind I probably would not have guessed it was a Cab Franc. Dark color, good fruit, moderate tannins, good balance. This is a restrained wine that reminded me more of a Bordeaux style wine, as opposed to a California Cab or Cab Franc. The wine still needs some time. Had with a grilled Roman style chicken and it went very well.

  • Dark fruit flavor upfront. Nice amount of spice on the finish. Tanin is starting to integrate. A perfect expression of Israeli PV. This wine is just entering it's window and may further developfor another couple of years but is quite enjoyable now

  • Full body, deep to inky purple color. Intense black fruits, floral and oak aroma. Black cherry, smoked plums, black olives and dark chocolate on the palate, long spicy finish. Rich, bold texture, complex, slightly dis-balanced, gentle acidity, tannic. Food friendly, best match is roasted or grilled meat. Don't cold it, serve 20º - 26º. Open about six hours in advance. Still not ready, cellar it one or two years.

  • Yatir (& Carmel) tasting (Wine-Route, Savion branch): intense dark opaque red-purple
intense quiet wave of rich dark fruits with spicy notes
full bodied, grip tannins, voluptuous fruity-spicy flavours, excellent balance & acidity level, very good harmony, well structured, complexed,
still young with good ageing potential, long spicy aftertaste and finish.
can age 2-4 years more till it arrives its optimal drinking period.
