  • Beautiful balance with crunchy tannins that are well integrated but require some good aeration before fully opening up. Another solid showing from Yatir.

  • Israel-tasting, flight 3, wine 2 (non-blind): 15% ABV. The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered ripe dark fruit and a plastic note on the nose, and ripe red and dark berries, dark cherry, chocolate and spices on the palate, with notable but well-integrated tannin. The wine was masculine and a little rustic and the finish seemed a little weak, but the wine was well-balanced and drank well. It improved with some time in the glass and I recommend extended aeration. 89+

  • Close to previous notes. Full body, deep garnet to inky color. Intense black fruits, floral and leather aroma. Dominant black cherry, dried plums palate and long spicy finish. Rich, powerful and heavy, bold texture, complex, well balanced, natural berries acidity, refined tannins. Food friendly, best match is meat dishes. Serve 18º - 20º. Open about three hours in advance. Should be well during next decade.
