Clear dark red. Red candy, spice and cola nose. Medium to full bodied, bing cherries for days, pepper, cranberries, well integrated tannins, good acid, a bit of heat, and a tangy medium to long finish. Di Arie has a house style - big soft fruit - and this fits right in. Very tasty, even though you can't really tell its a syrah.
