Another Epic Dinner in Zurich w/CVA, Benoit, Andrew...adding Paolo (Moevenpick 20/20): Tasted blind as the first wine of the evening. A generous contribution from Benoit! Guessed this was a burgundy from early 70s (pinot). Medium ruby/brick color. Nose was an elegant mix of dusted red fruits, wood, leather. Palate was elegant red fruit. Thin but elegant texture
Hard to rate as no real comparison. Fun to drink and learn about this wine (and region)
