Rule the Rhone; 10/27/2016-11/3/2016 (Northern & Southern Rhone): 85% Grenache, 15% Syrah on the land that had not had a chance to be properly designated Chateauneuf du Pape. Red berries on the nose which translated to fresh red raspberries in the initial taste. It's lovely and fruity and easy. Light tannins. I'm missing the complexity though or what keeps you coming back for more. Hints of oak at the end. This was a vintage that was less sun and more rain which surprised me as the fruit was really shining through.

Very nice salty nose, with fresh red cherries, hint of licorice, herbes de provence and very spicy!! Crisp red cherries acidity, good salinity, good freshness, on the lighter style but very feminine, great Côtes du Rhone with food!!

This is a great CdR for 2014. Starts very acidic and with harsh tannins but after about 3 hrs decant settles into a Grenache driven little CdP. Can easily see the wine gaining complexity and focus in 2-3 years time. at close to 17 EUR a nice QPR
